Internet On Fire with Pooja Hegde’s Looks In ‘Arabic Kuthu’ Song

Set to release in April 2022 on the occasion of Puthandu (the Tamil New Year), the film Beast is trending all over social media and the internet with its sensational song ‘Arabic Kuthu’. The lyrical video of the song was dropped on 14th February this year, giving us a glimpse of the process behind the song that has gotten everyone dancing.

The lyrical video gives a peep of the music video that is yet to come, the posted video gives us a teaser where the South Indian superstars Pooja Hegde and Vijay are swinging to the beat of the song, it also gives us a peek behind the filming process and the choreography. The Youtube video also features the two singers Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi who are the lead vocals of the song. 

Actress Pooja Hegde was seen adorned in a glamorous Roman-Egyptian attire with a long M slit skirt and a white dress as she grooved to the song ‘Arabic Kuthu’ song. Hegde has been a runner-up in Miss Universe India 2010 and has appeared in many South Indian films such as Mukunda and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. She was also seen in the Bollywood movie Housefull 4 opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. Pooja Hegde was announced as the lead of the film back in March 2021 through the Sun TV Youtube Channel. She wrapped up the shooting of the film by December the same year. 

Produced by Sun Pictures, the ‘Arabic Kuthu’ song is just the first single from the movie Beast leaving the audience wanting more of what is yet to come. The film is written and directed by Nelson and was shot in Chennai, Delhi, and Georgia. The costume for the song was done by famous designers Pallavi Singh and V.Sai. Pallavi Singh has worked with many South Indian stars such as Kajal Aggarwal and Nagarjuna.

‘Arabic Kuthu’ currently has more than 80 million views on Youtube and the song has been trending on social media platforms for some time. The film’s lead Pooja Hegde also posted a reel on her Instagram account doing the ‘Halamithi Habibo’ step on a yacht. Hegde posted the reel from her vacation to the Maldives and was seen rocking a blue co-ord set. Celebrities like Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Atlee Kumar, and Sree Mukhi joined the ‘Halamithi Habibo’ bandwagon. The song has also made it to no.4 on Spotify Debut Global; Anirudh Ravichander posted about the same, thanking his fans.
